Flash Back of Summer

So I think we are finally leaving behind the Summer weather. As I write this, it is 46 degrees out. People, in Texas that is frigid. I've been moaning and groaning about how I couldn't wait for it to cool off, and now I find myself makin' a quick run to the car in the morning...and also forcing my dogs to walk them selves out back. And of course they are Texas dogs, so they just sit there and scratch at the door frantically.

I think by far my highlight of the summer was when my sister Kayla and her family came to visit from Iowa. We took a trip down to Mustang Island and rented a beautiful beach front condo. Despite the dragon sized assassin mosquitos (we went shortly after a hurricane) we had a blast. Here I am almost 5 months later finally going through the pictures. I have oogles more to go through, but I pulled up a few of my favs.

Love the sunglasses picture -- I always wished I had a sister to do stuff like that with. At least I can live through my girls....
I didn't realize you were in Texas (or I forgot) I grew up in Houston and my dad is still there.

Texas weather is so crazy right now, isn't it? Dig-out-your-winter-coat freezing in the morning, and shorts weather in the afternoon! But that's better than the triple digit summer days.

Love your flashback of summer.

Doreen, I got it off of Piknik (spelling?) from flickr! They have a TON of really neat and cutesy frames for pictures!
