I'm finally getting around to uploading my before, during and after shots of my face. I mentioned a few months ago that I had a Vitalize chemical peel done. It was done on the 16th of October. I was pretty happy with the results. That was until I started using the Obagi Nuderm products. I started the system on the 19th of November. So it's been exactly a month. I have to say, I couldn't be happier with how it's all turned out.
Here's the before. I am extremely embarassed to post a pic of me with no makeup, but to see the full effects it's important.
October 15th, the day before my peel:
Ladies and Gentlemen, THIS is why you wear sunscreen.
3 days after the peel. I started peeling like crazy, and stopped taking pictures because it was so disgusting. You can see some of the sun damage lightened immediately after the peel:
Today, December 20th. NO makeup, NO touchups. All I did was sharpened the photo for web.

Sun damage is practically non-existant. My fine lines that I was developing on my forehead have softened. My skin tone is even and my complexion is improved. I am SOOOOOOOO stoked! So if y'all are looking for something to freshen up your skin I totally recommend having a Vitalize Peel. But to get max effects, you need to pair it up with the Obagi NuDerm System. I promise it's worth every penny.
I felt compelled to come back and add a pic with makeup. There's just something grotesque about me and no eye make-up. ;)
Happy Weekend everyone!

THat is so so awesome
Your skin looks beautiful! Congrats on being consistent with the whole program. You definitely reaped the benefits!
you look amazing!! where can I get that done? and then where can I get a full body fat peel?? LOL
Dalia
LOL a full body fat peel that's hilarious. You can get them done at med spa's Dalia. They run between 125-175 depending on where you live.
Wow! What a huge difference! That would take a big chunk out of my camera fund, though. Now if it was a full body fat peel.... I'd be all over that! LOL
Holy crap, that's amazing!! Not that you didn't look amazing beforehand but wow, you're face is so smooth and perfect.
I hear ya about the whole sunscreen thing..........you're lucky though, you're still really young. I was just at the dermatologist for a mole check but man she ream me out and made a huge fuss about all the sun damage. Which, she's right, but I also wonder if it's a tatic to start using botox that she conveniently does in her office, lol!
LOL Doreen, after I got the peel she started in on this, "You should really be on this product" yada yada yada. I totally thought it was just their routine gimmick. But I went home and did some research and was really blown away by the results. I could NOT be happier with my decision to buy it. I wouldn't drop dead to be seen without makeup before, I was even conscious about it around hubby. I have such a huge boost of confidence now! :)
Terri..this amazing...wow! Congrats on such awesome results!!!
Oh my goodness!! UR HAWT mama!! lol
I dont have sun damage but I have blemishes does it remove those??? hmmmm
Brandi_T
Holy cow! I've got to get me one of those! That's amazing. You swear you weren't playing around with photoshop?
Oh and good for you for posting no make-up pics. Macro ones no less :)
Brandi,
Yes, it TOTALLY gets rid of blemishes. New and old damage. I can't stress how important it was to combine both the Vitalize peel and the Obagi though.
Becky you little shit. ;) No, no photoshop help. I sharpened and resized. Period. I get nightmares when I see tht first picture. lol
Whoa!! That is totally amzing!! I can't believe the difference!
I can't believe how much of a transformation the peel did. WOW
You look beautiful without makeup, too!
Ok, I'm getting a vitalize peel and some of the obagi stuff immediately. You look awesome, before and after, but after is mind blowing. What do you buy exactly from obagi??
Here is the link to the site. I purchased the whole system, 1-6 as well as the tretinoin prescription. This is the real deal I'm tellin ya. I wish I would have found this before I wasted all the money on over the counter crap.

Amazing results girl! You looked gorgeous before, but even better now! WOW! I bet this could help me a lot. My skin looks very similar to your before pic. I'm going to look into this... How was it healing? How long did the peeling last?
Heather-
Healing was fine. You need a good 5-10 days for the peeling to stop, depending on the severity of your skin. The more sun damage you have, the more you will peel. You don't want to wear make-up while you peel. It really wasn't a big deal for me. The first 3 or so days your face is REALLY tight. Like so tight it's hard to smile or make any facial expressions lol. You should go for it girl, I am SO glad I did it.
Sounds like healing isn't too bad at all! I think I could handle that! I'll have to look around and see what I can find here. I have a friend who's an esthetician. I'm sure she could give me some advice on who to go to in the area. I don't think she does the peels. Thanks for the info!!
