Calling in Sick

Right. If only it worked that way.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed today. For some reason or another I woke up with a years worth of realizations flooding my mind, and in the process I think I may have injured my brain. If that's even possible.

Oh whatever. Excuse me while I take this brief moment to protest all that is annoying, frustrating and confusing in my life.

Okay, I'm done now.

I had something witty planned for today, but will have to postone it to a less brain-injured day. In the mean time, I thought I'd share some recent shots with my new Canon 10-22mm lens. Thanks again Hubby for not divorcing me when it magically appeared at our doorstep last week.

Wednesday I'm awaiting another magical visit from a man in brown. The Canon 85mm 1.8lens. Suprising enough, it wasn't my idea to get it. Hubby actually provoked and encouraged it. I'm wondering now as I write this if a secret love child of his is about to submerge. I guess I'll worry about that later.

In other news, a very dear friend of mine is having a baby girl...like as we speak. She just got her epidural. I'm heartbroken that I can't be there. However I'm super fantastically stoked to do a new born photoshoot! Woot woot! Speaking of photoshoots, I have one planned on Wednesday with an old co-worker and her beautiful boys. I can't wait!

Off to get my Diet Dr. Pepper out of the freezer. And a motrin.

Possibly two.
